Admission Procedure
2008 — 2009
- A visit to the school by
the parents is the first step. Interested parents will receive a copy
of the Parent Handbook and a Parent Questionnaire. If you’re interested,
give us a call at (530) 343-4308. We’ll set up an initial visit
for you.
- Parents fill out the Parent
Questionnaire and return it to the school. Montessori Elementary is
a special school environment and we want to know if you will be comfortable
with our program.
- An interview with parents
to follow-up on the questionnaire is scheduled and a time is arranged
when the child can visit.
- The child visits the school
without the parents.
- Tuition agreement, application
and health forms are completed.
- Parents wishing to have
their child attend Montessori Elementary need to remit the following
fees before their child can be considered enrolled:
- Registration fee (non-refundable)
of $300.00 – due each year at time of enrollment.
- Total full-time tuition
cost of $4,950.00. Half-day Kindergarten tuition is $2,475 (8:30-11:30A.M.).
There are several payment options available.
- If starting after the
first day of school, the tuition is prorated and adjusted according
to the number of days of attendance.
- A 10% discount is available
for second child.
- A complete physical examination
of the child to be enrolled is also required and must be completed within
three weeks of the first day of attendance. A physical examination form
to be completed by the examining physician is included with the initial
packet of forms.
- Notice of your child’s
first day of school and school calendar will be sent in August.
